62 Doors was started by a small group of artists in the summer of 2005. The walls consist of doors salvaged from an old barn and also from the top floor of the ArtMain building. These walls are where the name ’62 Doors Gallery and Studios’ originated.
62 Doors has nine individual studio spaces with ine renters, a new printmaking/art facilities studio, a gallery, a commons area with a kitchen and a living room.
Studio renters work in a collaborative effort to put together gallery exhibitions with receptions that are open to the public. We typically get about 75 to 100 people at opening receptions and look forward to welcoming you to our gallery sometime soon!
